You know I have been seeing something that is going on in the Spirit realm. We seem to be going threw a time of shaking right now. Of being plurged. I see people come and go as if going is going to change the season. We can not run from a season. A season is a season no matter where we are at. We know in the natural if its spiring its spring every where in the USA. No matter what part of the USA you go to, the season is the same.
It works that way also in The Spirit. This season may be uncomfortable for many of us. Some will except it and go on. This has to happen. God is doing a work on His Bride and He is going to do this work. He is building Him a Church, A Bride that will be holy. He is getting the spots out, He is getting the wrinkles out of us , so to speak.
Ephesians 5:25-30
25Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her,–26So that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the Word,
27That He might present the church to Himself in glorious splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such things [that she might be holy and faultless].—-28Even so husbands should love their wives as [being in a sense] their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself.
29For no man ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and carefully protects and cherishes it, as Christ does the church,—–30Because we are members (parts) of His body.
This is what is exactly what is going on. He is cleansing us by the washing of the water of The Word.He loves us. He cares for us. We are His Bride. He is getting us ready , to be with out spot or wrinkle so we can be holy and be found faultless. To me this is exciting!!
“Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end” (JOH 13:1).
HEB 12:2 , “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” ———That joy that was set before Him was that joy of being able to take that polluted bride, washed and cleansed and spotless in His own blood, and present her before the Father, that she might become the righteousness of God in Him.
We read of Christ Jesus presenting His bride before His Father’s throne in His own spotless white linen in REV 19:8, “And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.” This “fine linen, clean and white,” is not only the imputed righteousness of Christ, but also His imparted righteousness. It is Christ formed in you, the hope of glory. It is that Spirit of Christ dwelling in you. That fine linen is being conformed to the precious image of Christ.
When we come to the time of the marriage union, Jesus can present them in fine linen, which is the righteousness of saints, a bride that has come into harmony with the perfect image of Christ. The imputed righteousness of Christ? Yes. But also the imparted righteousness of Christ. Christ formed in you.
. HEB 13:8 , “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.”——–That love He had for His bride from eternity, from before the foundation of the world, has not been altered. We need to understand the depth of that love. Jesus loved His own unto the end of their life on this eath and even after that…..
This betrothal is the time of preparation that precedes the final marriage union. HOS 2:19 speaks of betrothal, but REV 19:7 says, “Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.”
19And I will betroth thee unto me for ever; yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies.
A process takes place, the process of the wife making herself ready. ROM 8:29 says that we are predestined to be conformed to the image of Christ. This process of sanctifying takes place during this time of betrothal in this lifetime. During this time of betrothal our Saviour builds a relationship with His bride, whom He has come to redeem from all iniquity. Our walk of life is tainted by defilement. The dust of this earth must be removed. We must not think that we can receive that fine linen and continue to walk in the things of this life. We live in this world and some times we end up with some of it in our life and we dont need that. Then we have a spot so to speak.
Even after Christ has betrothed His little flock to Himself, He must build a more perfect relationship with them through the washing of water by the Word before He can enter in a marriage union with them and give them the full expression of His love. Christ cannot give us the full expression of His love until He has cleansed us, until He has washed our walk of life, until He has given us to be renewed in the spirit of our minds, until we have that Spirit of Christ, until we have harmony of purpose, with Him in His love, until He is perfectly our first love
He says He loved His own because He does not share them with anyone else. He wants our hearts. He does not want us to serve two masters. He does not want us to have our hearts coveting after the things of this world and after the things of this life, while we are in His arms and in His embrace of love.
So many people misunderstand being converted. They think, When I was converted, and then they start talking about when the Spirit started working grace in their hearts. That is not being converted. That is being born. Being converted is when we start changing from being so proud and so defiled that we start walking in the things that please the Lord. ——ISA 53:5-6, “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.”——Who can fathom the depths of such love?
So we are in a seson of being cleansed. Dont freak. Just keep on walking with Jesus. We are all in it. He is preparing us. Just go with what He is speaking to you, read the word and listen to the word as you read it. Apply it unto your own heart and life! Rejoice!! He loves us and He is preparing us for His soon coming return! Be encuraged!!
Be encuraged, Growth is good. Dont fight it, dont run. Just stay on the potters wheel and allow the Great One, to shap you in to the vessel He has always desired. This is the reason you where created, To be HIS vessel. To serve Him in the way He created you to be.
Then I went down to the potter’s house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels. And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.” (Jeremiah 18:3-4)
By definition, clay is nothing more than any earth that forms a paste with water and hardens when heated or dried.Since we were made from the dust of the ground I don’t think that anyone would argue the point that we are the clay. (Genesis 2:7) And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
In order for man to live he must have a proper mixture of certain “ingredients” in his environment. Physically we need water, food, and air in order to survive. These are our most basic needs. We also need heat to keep us warm, light in order to see, clothes to protect our bodies and shelter to protect us from the elements. We must be able to sleep and eat in order to strengthen and nourish our bodies.
Just like we need certain “ingredients” in our lives for our physical well-being we also need certain “ingredients” in our lives for our spiritual existence and growth. We need to read our Bibles every day in order to know about spiritual matters. Why is Bible reading so important to the Christian? What effect does the Word of God have on us?
Knowledge comes through the Word of God.—-(2 Peter 3:5) For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
1 Corinthians 2:14, … the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” The lost man cannot fully understand the things of God but the Christian should, if not with his mind then with his faith. Whatever the Bible tells us, we should believe, whether we understand it or not. No one fully understands the Creation, there are many mysteries to it, but we should believe it because it is God’s account of what happened.
Faith comes through the Word of God……..(Romans 10:17) So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.How can you have faith in something you have never seen, heard, touched or felt? How can you believe in God when you have never seen Him? How can you by faith accept Jesus Christ as your Saviour when you have never seen Him? The only way is through the Word of God. The Bible tells us that God exists and is real. The Bible tells us that salvation is by faith (Ephesians 2:8-9). Faith can only come by reading and believing in the Word of God.
Salvation comes through the Word of God.(1 Peter 1:23) Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
Worship comes through the Word of God.—(Acts 13:44) And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.
One of the main reasons that we come together as a church is to learn from the Word of God. Yes, we sing and worship God in song and we have a time of fellowship with other believers before and after the service. But the main reason for the church service is to learn from the Bible something God wants to teach us. Could we learn these truths on our own? Maybe. But God gives a pastor special insight into the needs of His people. So it is important to be in church to learn from God’s Word.
Protection comes through the Word of God.—-(Ephesians 6:17) And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
A soldier’s greatest weapon is his sword. We are in a spiritual battle. How can we expect to properly defend ourselves if we do not have a weapon? Our weapon is the Word of God. It is what Jesus Christ Himself used against the devil when He was tempted in the wilderness. Three times He said, “IT IS WRITTEN” in resisting the temptations of the devil. Don’t be so foolish as to think that you can handle the devil on your own. You can’t.
Judgment comes through the Word of God.—(Hebrews 4:12) For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
If our hearts are pure then the Bible will convict us of our faults, our weaknesses, our wrong attitudes and our sins. If you are not convicted when you read certain passages of Scripture then you have a problem with pride. The Word of God is meant to get us right with God if we allow it to. Don’t quench the Holy Spirit when you are reading by refusing the admonition that He is giving you. The Bible is a mirror to your heart. Take a good long look and then fix what is wrong.
Victory comes through the Word of God.—–(1 John 2:14) I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.
Our second spiritual “ingredient” is our prayer life. We need to have a consistent prayer life so we can communicate with God. If you want answers to your prayers then whatever you pray for make sure that it is accordance with God’s will. God will not honor selfish requests or things that go against the Scriptures.
Just like the proper mixture of earth and water in clay we must have the proper balance of Bible reading and prayer in our lives. You can’t have one without the other. Too much or only Bible reading and you may have knowledge but you will definitely not have any power. Too much or only prayer and you will have neither knowledge nor power. They must go hand in hand.
Ending with this. One night, My sister and I were praying and we got a word from The Lord. Here it is…
I am preparing vessels that they may contain Me in such a way that I can flow threw them. I am making New Vessels. You do not pour new wine in to old skins. The old understanding must be renewed. There shall be a remant that will allow me to flow threw them. To use them in a new way. Yuild unto Me. Amen and Amen
